Meet Bethany Smith

Bethany brings warmth, compassion, and a genuine love for people to everything she does at Momentum. With nearly a decade in hearing healthcare and more than 20 years of experience working with private insurance, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role—but it’s her ability to connect with people that truly sets her apart.

Born and raised in Dauphin County, Bethany has spent her life in the Central Pennsylvania community she now has the privilege of serving. To her, patients aren’t numbers on a schedule or hearing tests on a chart. They’re parents, grandparents, spouses, friends, and loved ones—and she cares for them the same way she would want someone to care for her own family.

That philosophy has created relationships that extend far beyond a hearing aid fitting. Many of Bethany’s patients have trusted her with their hearing care for eight years and counting, following her throughout her career because they know she’ll listen, be honest with them, and be there when they need her. Whether someone is nervous about their first hearing evaluation, frustrated with their hearing aids, or simply stopping in for a routine visit, Bethany has a way of making people feel comfortable, understood, and cared for.

For Bethany, better hearing is ultimately about people. It’s hearing the conversation around the dinner table, laughing with friends, enjoying your favorite music, and staying connected to the people and experiences that make life meaningful. She approaches hearing care with patience, integrity, and the understanding that the right solution looks different for every person.

Outside of Momentum, Bethany loves spending time with her husband, Jimmy, their children, Mady and Jake, and their three pups. Give her a good concert, a day spent four-wheeling, some time on the water fishing, or a great book and she’s happy. Whether she’s heading out for an adventure or enjoying some quiet time with the people she loves, family and making memories are always at the center of Bethany’s life.
